The parliamentarian pointed out that the energy market should not be subject to politicization.
“Russia ... always said that since these are market products, there should be market relations, there should be no political demands and discussions in this connection. Of course, it is very pleasing that the new leadership of Ukraine is beginning to understand that in no way can market and political relations be dependent, ”the deputy said.
He noted that Russia favors finding a compromise convenient for all parties.
“The Russian side has always been for the continuation of work to find a solution that will be beneficial both to Russia and Ukraine for financial interests. I think that (if this solution is found. - RT ), the contract has been agreed and signed, ”Ananskikh added.
Earlier, in Brussels, completed consultations on gas transit with the participation of representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak called the trilateral talks "very constructive."
