Dubai's economy has received 4,800 applications for automatic settlement of commercial fines during the first half of this year, according to Dubai Economic Department.

Al-Kaabi pointed out that according to the old system, the customer was obliged to submit a request to settle the violations according to which the system verifies the right of the commercial company to get any reduction in fines.

Dubai's economy, represented in the commercial control and consumer protection sector, has announced the adoption of automatic settlement, and a reduction of 50% in the fines issued to the violating commercial establishments, as dealers from commercial license holders automatically receive a settlement, if the conditions of the reduction entitlement are met.

It is noteworthy that the system of settlement of fines contributed to the provision of financial facilities to dealers smoothly, as he completed the settlement of the fines of dealers worth 23 million and 402 thousand and 775 dirhams.

Launching an awareness platform at Dubai Airport
