Iran on Sunday (September 15th) refuted Washington's accusations of Tehran's involvement in the attack on Saudi oil installations as " foolish " and " lies ".

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif replied in a tweet to his American counterpart. " Mike Pompeo, who has failed in his policy of maximum pressure against Iran, is now resorting to the lie ," writes Mohammad Javad Zarif. He added that accusing Iran will not put an end to the tragedy of Yemen and that the only solution is to stop attacks on that country and start inter-Yemeni talks.

Having failed at "max pressure", @ SecPompeo's turning to "max deceit"

US & its customers are stuck in Yemen

Blaming Iran will not end disaster. Accepting our April '15 to end war & begin talks may.

Iran supports Houthi rebels and denounces daily attacks by Saudi Arabia and its allies against Yemen. Tehran is also calling on Western countries to stop delivering weapons to Riyadh.

After these attacks on Saudi oil installations , tension has again risen in the region between Iran and the United States. General Amir Ali Hadjizadeh, commander of the aerospace force of the Revolutionary Guards, did not reject the possibility of a war between Iran and the United States. Neither Iran nor the US want the war, but an unintended confrontation can lead to open conflict between the two countries, said General Hadjizadeh.

It has added all US bases and ships within 2,000 kilometers are under the control of the Iranian armed forces and will be attacked in case of open conflict between the two countries.
