Learn about the electronic services provided by the Ministry of Economy to national and foreign companies

The Ministry of Economy said that it provides 5 major services to investors and national and foreign companies in the country electronically related to certificates of origin, renewal of industrial licenses, registration of trademarks and services of foreign companies and the addition of a new raw material to import companies.

The ministry explained that the provision of services electronically comes within the framework of the ministry's policy to facilitate and facilitate investors and attract more local and foreign companies to invest in the country in addition to increasing the competitiveness of the UAE at the regional and international levels in the field of business.

The ministry pointed out that the first of these services is the issuance of certificates of origin for the national and Gulf industrial products, the certificate of origin between the GCC countries for agricultural and animal products, the certificate of origin between the GCC countries for natural wealth products, the certificate of origin for the Arab countries, the special certificate of origin in accordance with the GSP and a general certificate of origin for the rest. Countries of the world and the Gulf Unified Certificate of Origin (EFTA) and the Certificate of Origin between the GCC and Singapore, in addition to the amendment of the certificates of origin already issued

The ministry noted that it also offers the service of renewing the industrial production license issued by the ministry electronically, explaining that it is renewed within one day only

She added that the third of these electronic services provided to investors is the registration of new trademarks, to be registered after the expiry of the period of objection thirty days from the date of the last announcement published in the Official Gazette.

She stressed that it also provides many services to foreign companies electronically, mainly requesting an initial approval for the establishment of a branch of a foreign company and registration of a branch of foreign origin as well as requests for amendment, renewal and write-off, including the renewal of the registration of a foreign company and the amendment of the branch of a foreign company and the sale and merger of a foreign company Re-registration of a canceled company and freezing of a foreign establishment branch

The Ministry of Economy pointed out that the fifth of these services provided electronically is the addition of a new raw material to import companies.
