The candidates for the resumption of the airline, which employs 1,150 people, placed in receivership a week earlier, have until Monday, September 9 to submit their offers.

After a crazy week when Aigle Azur has experienced turbulence that forced him to nail all its planes on the ground, those who want to get them off again have a few hours to file their offers of recovery.

Among the companies that would be interested are Air Caraïbes, Air France, French Bee, Vueling or Level. But there are also individuals, like Lionel Guerin, the former CEO of Hop, the former Air France subsidiary. He is favored by the pilots' union because he promises a complete takeover of Aigle Azur, while the CFDT union would prefer to land at Air France, but the first French air carrier would rather propose a partial recovery.

Even in bankruptcy, the 9,800 landing and take-off rights Aigle Azur has in Orly are of great interest to other companies. Which potential buyer will be the lucky winner among those who will submit an offer? The court administrator should decide quickly.

If he does not find a buyer, the door to the liquidation will be open. In the meantime, the day of Monday will also be marked by the demonstrations of employees of Aigle Azur.
