New round of US-China trade talks to be held in October

Earlier, the American leader Donald Trump announced the upcoming increase in duties on goods from China, which will be imported from September and October 2019.

Later, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce reported that Beijing initiated proceedings in the World Trade Organization (WTO) in connection with the introduction of new duties on Chinese exports from the United States.

In May, expert Dmitry Rodionov, in an interview with the FAN, noted that the Washington-Beijing trade talks ended in nothing and led to a new round of trade war.
