This was reported by TASS with reference to the bureau of the representative of the Polish government on strategic energy infrastructure Peter Naimsky.

“The document will be signed by Petr Naimsky, US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Danilyuk,” the Polish authorities informed.

It is noted that the agreement concerns cooperation in the field of reforming the Ukrainian gas market, Poland’s natural gas import infrastructure, Ukrainian infrastructure for storing and exporting American LNG, as well as gas connections in the region.

Earlier it became known that Poland agreed to sell Ukraine regasified liquefied natural gas, which the country buys from the United States.

Poland also stated that they were ready to launch a gas pipeline of 2 billion cubic meters, which would connect the Polish gas transportation system to the Ukrainian one.

In May, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, head of Naftogaz Andrey Kobolev, and US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry discussed plans to import US LNG from the Polish terminal to Ukraine.
