Holland Casino, incidentally, had a good first half of 2019, with a 12 percent higher turnover than in the same period last year. EUR 38 million was converted.

This was mainly due to a 9 percent higher number of visitors. Moreover, 3 percent more was spent per visit.

According to Holland Casino, the increased number of visitors is partly due to the opening and reopening of the branches in Groningen and Amsterdam West-Sloterdijk. The company has fourteen branches, which are now all open again for the first time since the end of 2017.
