At the same time, Oreshkin noted that population growth in 2020 is still expected to reach 1.5% and to 2.4% in 2024.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin during a meeting that was attended, including by Oreshkin, noted that even taking into account the increase in wages in the economy, real incomes of Russians are growing slowly.

He noted that this state of affairs cannot but cause concern.

In June, Putin in a straight line admitted that the problem of the growth of incomes of Russians remains, but noted the beginning of the process of their gradual recovery.
