An economic report predicted that the value of the computer games market this year will reach $ 152 billion, of which $ 68.5 billion, or 45% of the total market, will come from sales of mobile games. This strong sales growth of 10.2% per annum has led to a revival of investment and acquisitions in the sector, where each side wants a share of the pie. At the same time, the value of investments in this market during the year and a half reached $ 9.6 billion, and if investment continues to grow at this pace, the value of investments during the last two years and more than the total investment during the previous eight years combined.

According to TechCrunch, a technology specialist, games account for about 33% of all apps downloaded on mobile devices and 74% of users' spending on apps. It is estimated that 2.4 billion people will have played computer games through open devices this year around the world, equivalent to about a third of the world's population. 50% of mobile app users play games, making this category of apps as popular as music apps such as Spotify and Apple Music and second only to social media apps in terms of time allotted.

In the United States, the amount of time spent on mobile devices is more than the time spent watching television, where users spend more time with mobile devices by 8 minutes a day compared to the time of television. This figure is expected to reach more than 30 minutes a day in 2021.
