Renown entered the umbrella of a major textile manufacturer in China nine years ago, but continued to be sluggish, and in the fiscal year ended in February, the main brands such as “Durban” and “Aqua Scutum” Since sales did not show up, the net profit was in the red of over 3.9 billion yen.

For this reason, we decided to withdraw from unprofitable sales outlets of directly managed stores and department stores to improve management efficiency and reduce personnel accordingly.

In the apparel industry, Sanyo Shokai has been reducing the number of employees by recruitment of voluntary retirement last year, and the severe business environment continues as competition from fast fashion and online shopping on low-priced routes intensifies.
