In total, 17 states were included in the list.

The largest debtor to Russia is Belarus ($ 7.55 billion), whose debt has hardly changed since last year.

In second place is Ukraine with a debt of $ 3.7 billion. In Kiev, as noted, recognize only $ 0.61 billion of debt for gas supplies in the early 1990s.

In third place is Venezuela with $ 3.5 billion of debt, most of which is a 2011 loan for the supply of Russian weapons to this country.

According to the publication, the CIS countries accounted for $ 15.8 billion, or about 40% of the total debt.

Among foreign countries, in addition to Venezuela, Cuba ($ 3.2 billion) and Bangladesh ($ 2 billion) have the largest debt.
