An effort to bring together senior personnel such as JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) to venture companies in the space business field will begin this fall. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will take the lead in strengthening the competitiveness of the Japanese space industry.

The space business, such as the manufacture and launch of artificial satellites and the provision of satellite services, is expanding globally. In Japan, venture companies are entering the market for the development of micro satellites and mini rockets.

Under these circumstances, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will start from the fall of an effort to bring together senior talents such as JAXA who have high expertise in the space field to venture companies.

Veterans who are about to retire are registered with their careers and special skills to make it easier for them to find the people they need.

Currently, there are about 9,000 people in the space field in Japan, but the fact that human resources are biased toward JAXA, etc., the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, I would like to strengthen the competitiveness of the Japanese space industry.
