“Hearings in the case of challenging the arbitral award in the transit case are scheduled for September-October 2020,” the document says.
Gazprom and Naftogaz disputes regarding gas supply and transit contracts were issued in December 2017 and February 2018.
The court recovered from Gazprom a $ 4.637 billion compensation in favor of Naftogaz for the shortage of gas for transit through Ukraine, but taking into account Naftogaz’s obligations to resolve a gas dispute, the Russian company should pay less - $ 2.56 billion.
In June, the head of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Alexander Novak, said that the Russian side had proposed to the Ukrainian a settlement agreement on arbitration with Gazprom.
In March, the High Court of England and Wales suspended the proceedings on the recognition and enforcement of the decision of the Stockholm arbitration in the proceedings between Gazprom and Naftogaz.
