With the postponement of the import tariffs, the trade conflict between China and the US will be slightly calmer again.

Tensions rose sharply again at the beginning of this month when the Americans unexpectedly announced that they would introduce an additional import tariff on $ 300 million of Chinese goods from 1 September. Those rates are now being postponed again.

The American tech sector, which often reacts strongly to trade issues, is about 2.3 percent higher after the announcement. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing is 1 percent in the plus. Caterpillar, which is also highly dependent on the Chinese market, is up 3.7 percent.
