Etihad Airways' flight EY833 departed from Hong Kong International Airport to Abu Dhabi International Airport on schedule on Tuesday with passengers who completed the check-in process before authorities closed immigration procedures, a spokesman said.

The guest services team is currently assisting guests who have not been able to complete the immigration procedures and book them on the flight tomorrow, the spokesman said.

The spokesman advised guests traveling from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi on flight EY833 for Wednesday to arrive at the airport early to clear the travel and immigration procedures.

In addition to the scheduled flight today, Etihad Airways Flight 833, which was supposed to operate from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi, also departed yesterday, while EY834 flight from Abu Dhabi to Hong Kong is expected to start at 10:05 pm Tuesday.

Etihad continues to monitor the situation closely and apologizes for the delays.
