For a few weeks, Aigle Azur has been facing major difficulties. The Paris-Alger connection, very busy, concentrates the concerns of the customers of the company.

It is the second largest French airline after Air France: Aigle Azur (1,400 employees) faces in recent weeks major difficulties due to a poorly controlled diversification in long-haul flights. Her usual customers are starting to worry, especially those who choose her to join Algeria, destination on which she is very present.

Last June, Aigle Azur had to separate from one of its 12 aircraft, an Airbus A320, a blow just before the summer and departures on vacation. This situation worries some customers accustomed to the flight Paris-Algiers, flight which the company has made the specialty. They were present Friday in front of the Parisian agency Aigle Azur. "Of course it worries me! If Aigle-Azur does not fly, there will be fewer planes," a logically predicts a customer. "I hope that my return will not be compromised", abounds another.

Management ensures that flights will be insured

This is one of the fears rising: Aigle Azur will she not be forced to cancel flights before the end of the holidays? "No," says the management, which promises that "all flights will be insured this summer".

Nevertheless: the company recognizes in a release face difficulties. She says "working on different projects" to ensure, she says, its "sustainability". The management remains very discreet on the tracks studied. But two seem to hold the rope: to review down the number of flight slots at Orly or outright close a destination.
