In a context of intense tension in the Middle East, Iran has unveiled three new precision missiles, weapons that add to an arsenal of concern to the international community.

They were baptized "Yassin", "Balaban" and "Ghaem", they are remote-controlled and highly accurate, according to the Iranian Minister of Defense who introduced them.

It is a small-scale machine that complements Tehran's arsenal, which regularly announces its ballistic progress and already has missiles of various ranges, up to 2,000 km for some.

In unveiling these new weapons, the defense minister said his country must defend itself and blasted " the treachery and conspiracies of the Great American Satan and his mercenaries ."

This is a very clear message, as Westerners worry about the risk of regional proliferation of these Iranian missiles that may end up in the hands of Tehran's allies in Syria, Lebanon or Yemen.

These new announcements come in a context of great tension in the Persian Gulf where naval incidents have been going on for several months.
