Mezentsev noted that Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart stressed that following the completion of the work on the calculation, the losses incurred by Belarus would be compensated.

“No one is arguing about this, no one is trying to get away from the situation or treat it somehow differently,” the Russian ambassador said.

He also said that the Russian side “almost completely satisfied the request from the Belarusian side for an additional supply of oil, primarily to the northern plant Naftan.

Mezentsev added that we are talking about an additional supply of 98 thousand tons of oil "literally in a matter of weeks."

Earlier, Russia began additional oil supplies to the Belarusian refinery Naftan.
