EXCLUSIVE

After a gloomy end of 2018, the job market is starting again! Job offers, especially those on permanent contracts, increase, according to the RégionsJob barometer of the first semester of 2019, unveiled exclusively on Wednesday by Europe 1.

An additional 30,000 job offers were identified in the first half of 2019, an increase of 9% compared to the end of 2018. And 74% of these offers are permanent contracts. For David Beaurepaire, HelloWork's managing director, who publishes this barometer, this is a sign that business leaders are once again confident. Noting that jobs on permanent contracts "increase by more than 16%", he considers that it is in particular the fact of "business leaders who are more confident in the future, who recruit in a more sustainable way".

Île-de-France and the PACA region are particularly dynamic

For this expert on the labor market, this increase is also linked to "recruitment difficulties on certain job pools, where, in order to find a candidate, it is necessary to find a permanent contract, otherwise you will have difficulties in find a good candidate ".

These CDIs concern particularly computer and commercial functions and are mainly located in metropolitan areas. Among the regions that recruit the most: Île-de-France with an increase of 18% in the last six months, but also the PACA region, with a 24% increase in the number of job offers.
