The total number of new licenses issued in June 2019 reached 2,394 licenses, with 79 licenses a day in Dubai, according to the business activity report issued by Dubai Economic Registration and Licensing Sector.

The report added that the new licenses contributed to the addition of 7598 jobs to the labor market. These licenses were divided into several activities, mainly professional activities at 58.5%, commercial 38.9%, tourism 1.9% and industrial 0.7%.

According to Dubai Economic Department, these figures from the Business Plan, the Department's digital information platform, continue to support Dubai's ambitious development drive towards excellence and to consolidate the emirate's position on the economic map as a hub for business and financial development in the region and globally.

Transactions completed

The total number of commercial registration and licensing transactions completed in June 2019 was 22,759. The outsourcing centers in the various regions in Dubai completed 19,912 transactions, accounting for 87% of the total transactions.

Nationalities and regions
