The KCTU held a press conference in front of the Cheong Wa Dae and said it will start a full-scale struggle, including a general strike on the 18th of next month in response to the arrest of Kim Myung-hwan.
However, the decision to participate in the upcoming debate on the next minimum wage will be made on Dec. 27.
Cheong Wa Dae said, "Although the arrest of Kim Myung Whan is unfortunate, it is a decision of the judiciary." He pointed out the principle response, and the relationship between labor and government is expected to be in conflict for a considerable period of time.
