The tension remains strong between Tehran and Washington after the attack on the American drone, even if the American president decided at the last moment not to react militarily to the Iranian action.

Iran has not reacted to Donald Trump's tweets claiming he gave up strikes against Iran at the last moment.

But Tehran maintains its version and does not let down the guard. Iran's television showed for the first time photos of US drone debris shot down on Thursday, saying they had been recovered in Iranian waters. One way to deny American claims that the drone was shot down over international waters.

The head of the Revolutionary Guards' aerospace force, General Hajizadeh, said two warnings had been issued to the unmanned drone. He said another US P8 spy plane, with 35 people, was accompanying the drone, but the Iranians decided not to shoot him down. " Our goal was to warn Americans, " said General Hajizadeh.

In contrast, Tehran has summoned the Swiss ambassador, whose country represents US interests, to warn the United States against attack.
Nevertheless, the Iranians still fear a skid that could provoke a military confrontation between the two countries.
