The Director of Line Investment and Real Estate Company, owner of eight commercial centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Wajib Al Khoury, said that 1,600 shops in eight commercial centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will offer discounts ranging between 25% and 75% for 47 days during the period from 18 June to 3 August at the Festival Shopping Mall Millionaire is part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Awards season in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi.
Al-Khoury said in a press statement today, following a press conference to announce the start of the summer shopping festival, that the participating shops include shops, clothes, jewelry, restaurants, cafeterias and service shops except banks and exchange companies.
Al Khouri explained that the participating stores in Al Wahda, Al Mashref, Al Khaldain, Al Rahma, Zayed City and Madinat Zayed in Abu Dhabi, as well as Bari Out Out and Al Fawa in Al Ain, offer great discounts and rewards to the country's residents and visitors alike.
In order to become a millionaire shopper, shoppers who spend Dhs 200 can pay their bills to the customer service centers at the eight malls and will be assured of their participation via e-mail and SMS.
"The festival aims at increasing the percentage of spending in commercial centers by the residents of Abu Dhabi alongside visitors while increasing the sales of the various shops participating in the festival," said Ahmed Mohammed Al Harami, Director of Events Department at Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.
Al-Harami said that the department organizes festivals for shopping and discounts during five periods per year in several commercial centers in Abu Dhabi. He pointed out that the Department cooperates with the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi in order to reduce the cost of permits for the participating shops.
