“The Russian side promised that by July 1, all three threads of the Druzhba pipeline would be cleaned, which means that not a single additional batch of polluted oil will reach Poland,” the message on the PERN website said.

It is also noted that the first line of the Druzhba oil pipeline in Poland can be launched by June 9.

The next Polish-Russian meeting on the situation with oil supplies is scheduled for June 3 in Russia.

On May 21, Polish Minister of Energy Krzysztof Tkhezhevsky addressed his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak with a request to take urgent measures to restore transit and supply high-quality oil through the Druzhba pipeline.
