Train traffic will be severely disrupted on Monday mornings in several large cities because employees of different transport companies put down work for an hour. In Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague, among others, there is a strike.

The strike will last 66 minutes. The first trains depart from a large number of cities from 07.06. After this the normal timetable will be restarted.

The promotion takes place in the following cities: Den Helder, Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Utrecht, Zwolle, The Hague, Hengelo, Enschede, Arnhem, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Heerlen. The unions expect that the number of locations will increase even further.

The FNV, CNV and VVMC are participating in the strike. The reason for the strike is a better pension for NS employees. They want a pension from the age of 66, which is why there is a 66-minute strike.
