The Ministry of Economy announced yesterday the launch of two safety calling campaigns, including 371 Maserati and Bentley luxury cars, as a result of industrial faults, in cooperation with the local agents of these vehicles in the country.

The ministry said in a report that the first campaign includes 239 Maserati cars of the Quattroporte and 2016 models in Italy, in cooperation with Al Tayer Motors, the local importer of Maserati cars in the UAE, Motors' official dealer for Maserati cars in Abu Dhabi.

Maserati calls for the replacement of the fuel delivery line to avoid fuel leakage. Al Tayer and Premier will start communicating with the consumers concerned to inform them of the recall and the timing of bringing cars to repair and replace the pipe for free.

For the second call-in campaign, the ministry said it included 132 Bentley Continental GT, manufactured between January and November 2018, in cooperation with Al Habtoor Motors, the exclusive Bentley Continental GT in the UAE.

The economy explained that the recall was due to the fact that, after contact with Bentley Motors Limited, it turned out that the ECM needed to be reprogrammed, due to a program error, which in some traffic situations could lead to a risk Lead to an accident.
