The UK share of services exports, which amounted to 23.8 billion euros, turned out lower in 2018 than the year before. The United Kingdom is still the largest buyer of the Dutch services sector after Germany and Ireland, according to figures from the CBS.

The UK share in exports from the services sector fell from 11.8 percent to 11.5 percent, mainly because total service exports grew rapidly.

The British mainly purchase services related to oil and gas extraction, management advice services and construction services. Services from the Dutch ICT and transport sector are also in great demand in the United Kingdom.
