Early Monday morning, elementary school students in Recklinghausen made a gruesome find. In their schoolyard they discovered a dead woman. Emergency chaplains looked after the children.

The students had discovered the lifeless woman on Monday morning around 7:00 a.m., said the police spokeswoman. An emergency doctor was only able to determine her death. Emergency chaplains would then have taken care of the children. Because of the unclear situation, a homicide squad was routinely set up. Classes at the elementary school were canceled on Monday, according to the city.
