The leader of the Moldovan opposition party "Shor" Ilan Shor said in an interview with RT that Western politicians who come to Moldova promise residents "milk rivers", but in fact the people cannot even pay utility bills.

Moldova has fulfilled about 80% of the conditions that were put forward by the European Commission (EC) in order for the country to start negotiations on joining the EU, said State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Kuk.


"We have 40% of the conditions implemented, about 40% are at the advanced or final stage, and this percentage is constantly growing," RIA Novosti quoted Cook as saying on the air of the Moldova radio station.

He noted that the country is in the final stages of fulfilling the conditions.
