Western countries are putting pressure on the UAE to force the country to suspend exports to Russia of certain products, including electronics, which allegedly can be used for military purposes.

This was reported by the British newspaper Financial Times, citing sources.

“In recent weeks, representatives of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom have visited the UAE,” the TASS article says.

It is noted that they expressed concern about the possibility of using the UAE as a hub for re-exports.

In their opinion, such actions may indicate the re-export of some goods to Russia, bypassing Western sanctions, for further military use.

Earlier it was reported that the UAE for the first time will enter the top 20 leading foreign economic partners of Russia.

There was also information that Russia would present its weapons at a defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
