Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, said that teachers are on the "front line", fighting for the future of the country.

“What our teachers are doing today is also the front line, the front line for the future,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Kirienko noted that educators deserve tremendous respect and gratitude for their work not only from students, but from all of Russia.

In December, Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, there were not enough teachers in history and the Russian language.

According to him, a history textbook for high school, which will include a section on SVO, will be ready in March 2023.
