MED: annual inflation in Russia slowed to 11.36% as of February 20

Inflation in Russia in annual terms slowed down to 11.36% on February 20, according to a review by the Ministry of Economic Development.


“In the week from February 14 to February 20, 2023, inflation slowed to 0.06%, in annual terms - to 11.36%,” the document says.

It is noted that the main contribution to the slowdown in inflation was made by a decrease in the growth rate of prices for consumer goods to 0.11%.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that inflation in Russia could return to the target of 4% in the second quarter of this year.
