Novak announced the possibility of supplying Russian gas to Afghanistan and Pakistan

In the future, Russia can supply natural gas to the markets of Afghanistan and Pakistan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview with TASS.


“If we talk about a deeper perspective, then this is the export of gas to Afghanistan, Pakistan: either using infrastructure projects in Central Asia, or in a swap from the territory of Iran,” Novak said.

Earlier, the head of the Center for Analysis of Strategy and Technology for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Vyacheslav Mishchenko, in an interview with RT, commented on the statement of the head of the Russian Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov that Russia would not supply oil at prices set by the West in principle.
