The hunt for the Skansen owl continues - see the total destruction after the snow collapse

One of the two barn owls that escaped from their cage at Skansen after the roof collapsed from the masses of snow has still disappeared without a trace. The owl is believed not to have flapped any further, but is still somewhere in the immediate area. - We get more and more worried as time goes on, says Linda Törngren, head of the animal care unit at Skansen.

The missing owl has created great public interest and Skansen has received a large number of observations from people who believe they have seen the spotted owl.

- We try to sift through all the observations but are also out on our own scouting.

Now that the snow has disappeared from the trees, it is also a little easier to see the gray owl in the trees, says Linda Törngren.
