It's almost an annual tradition. When snow chaos in the capital halts train services, creates kilometer-long queues and forces people to stay at home. At the same time, the rest of Sweden laughs when "a little snow" paralyzes all of Stockholm.

The heavy snowfall has caused it in several places during the day - not least in Stockholm.

And around the country, there are probably many who think: What is so worrying, shouldn't Stockholm traffic cope with the snowfall?

But Bengt Olsson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Administration, believes that it is not that simple.

Stockholm's 1,600 switches in the train traffic must be brushed clean of snow, for example.

- It has come somewhere between 30-40 centimeters, which is quite a lot by our standards.

When it comes in many places at the same time, then it becomes a challenge, he says.

But what does it usually look like when the snow paralyzes the capital?
