OPEC raised its forecast for the growth of oil and condensate production in Russia in 2022 by 69 thousand barrels per day, up to 133 thousand barrels per day. This is stated in the monthly report of the organization.

Production of liquid hydrocarbons in Russia in 2022 will increase to an average of 10.9 million barrels per day, the document says.

The organization notes that forecasts for production in Russia are characterized by a "high degree of uncertainty."

On November 12, columnists Fiona McDonald, Sudhi Ranjana and Anthony Di Paola wrote in an article for Bloomberg that the OPEC+ decision to cut oil production demonstrated the determination of many states to resist the United States.
