[Breaking News] Lula wins Brazilian presidential election... Brazil's first three-term president

Former Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula Dashiuba has won the Brazilian presidential election on the 30th after a close match. President-elect Lula won the election with 50.83% of the votes based on 98.91% of the vote counting, beating out President Jair Bolsonaro, who got 49.17%, in the final round of the election.


The former president of Brazil, Luis Inacio Lula Daciuba (77), won the Brazilian presidential election on the 30th (local time) after a close match.



President-elect Lula won the election with 50.83% of the votes based on 98.91% of the vote counting, beating President Jair Bolsonaro (67), who got 49.17% of the votes, in the final round of the presidential election that day.



Brazil's Supreme Election Court officially announced at 7:59 pm that "Lula has been confirmed as the winner."



Lula, who served two consecutive terms from 2003 to 2010 and led a South American nation with a population of 210 million, became the first three-term president in Brazil's history with this victory.
