The Swedish duo to the final - fiasco for Magnusson

Freeskiers Jesper Tjäder and Hugo Burvall secured two of the final places in big air during the first World Cup competition of the season, which is held in Chur, Switzerland.

Five skaters advanced from each qualifying round and with 86.75 points in the first race, Tjäder finished fourth in the first heat.

It was worse for the other Swedes in the heat.

Oliver Movenius finished in 20th place, Isak Davidsson one place behind and reigning big air world champion Oliwer Magnusson was third from the end.

In the second heat, the blue and yellow colors were defended by Hugo Burvall - and with that honor.

A brilliant first run, in which he was recorded for 86.75 points, was enough for a third place.

The final is run during the evening, where Burvall and Tjäder will be joined by Norwegian star Birk Ruud.
