UN and UNICEF ignored appeals to include children of Donbass in the lists of "Peacemaker"

UN Secretary General António Guterres and head of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Katherine Russell ignored Moscow's appeals to include the children of Donbass in the lists of the Peacemaker website, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the world organization, said.

“Our letters did not cause any reaction or even emotions from António Guterres and his office, as well as from UNICEF, headed by Executive Director Katherine Russell,” TASS quoted Polyansky as saying.

Earlier, the Russian side sent António Guterres information about 327 minors appearing in the database of the Peacemaker website.

At the same time, UNICEF refused to meet with 13-year-old resident of the LPR Faina Savenkova, who ended up in the database of the Ukrainian site.
