The US Army has signed a contract for the supply of a batch of UAVs to the US armed forces and abroad in the amount of almost $ 192 million.


"Insitu Inc.

of Bingen, Washington, was awarded a $191.8 million contract to supply 13 RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aerial vehicles, 25 ScanEagle UAVs for the Navy, Marine Corps, and sale to foreign military forces,” the Pentagon said in a statement.

The contractor will also provide launchers for UAVs, spare parts and other equipment for operation.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden approved the allocation of a new $675 million military aid package to Ukraine.
