From the Blue Drawing Room in Buckingham Palace, King Charles III has now officially given his first speech as British monarch. - Queen Elisabeth was so loved by everyone, even by those who wanted to abolish the monarchy, says Anna-Maja Persson, SVT's correspondent in London.
During the speech, King Charles thanked the British people for their support following Queen Elizabeth's passing.
Mourners at Buckingham Palace reportedly chanted "long live the king" to show their support.
