UN Deputy Secretary General Izumi Nakamitsu at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the topic of supplying Western weapons to Kyiv said that the organization is extremely concerned about the large-scale supply of weapons to zones of armed conflicts.

Nakamitsu, according to RIA Novosti, expressed, among other things, her concern about the possible leakage of the supplied weapons from the addressee.

“The large-scale influx of weapons into conflict zones raises many concerns, including potential leakage,” she said.

As Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev noted, Western weapons supplied to Ukraine through black markets often end up with organized crime groups and terrorists in Europe and other regions.
