The Czech Republic did manage to keep close at first, but then it loosened up for the big favorite USA.
Three goals in less than three minutes in the middle of the first period killed any kind of excitement and the rest of the game felt more or less like a long wait for the final whistle.
In the end, the USA won 10–1 and now Canada is most likely waiting in another World Cup final.
