Serena Williams, one of the most titled tennis players in history, has announced her retirement. In over 25 years in professional sports, she won 39 Grand Slams, 23 of them in singles. The American became the Olympic champion four times and finished the year at the top of the WTA rankings five times. During this time, she earned more than $94.5 million in prize money.
