Joel Cedergren was hired as a new coach before the season, but was fired after just one match in the super league.
The then head of football Axel Kjäll, who had previously been head coach for the club, then chose to take over responsibility for the team.
Now, however, Axel Kjäll chooses to poke himself, and assistant coach Christian Järdler becomes the new head coach.
- This is a solution that I myself proposed and reasoned with the board about for some time.
I feel under the current circumstances that it is important for the best interests of the club to make this change, says Kjäll in a comment on the club's website.
At the same time, the club announces that Kjäll will work within the organization for the rest of the season, but then leave the club.
Örebro is in ninth place in the super league with 24 points after 20 games played.
