The Supreme Court of Russia on Tuesday, August 2, will continue to consider the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office on the recognition of the Ukrainian national battalion "Azov" as a terrorist organization.

It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the court.

The court session is scheduled for 10:00 Moscow time.

It is noted that the meetings are held behind closed doors.

Initially, the court session was supposed to take place on May 26, but was postponed to June 29, and then to August 2.

In March, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview with the Italian television company Mediaset, recalled that the West itself did not hesitate to recognize the Ukrainian Azov regiment as neo-Nazis.
