A company in Hallstahammar is required to pay SEK 30 million by the Swedish Tax Agency for VAT fraud. The company has not wanted to cooperate during the investigation, the Tax Agency writes.

A company went from a turnover of around SEK 300 in 2019 to SEK 70 million in 2020. Among other things, by invoicing shell companies, VLT and news agency Siren write.

The registration of the company shows that the business activities focused on the trade of mobile phones, without having previously dealt with the trade of mobile phones or home electronics.

The Swedish Tax Agency writes that it is very likely that no real purchases or sales ever took place and now demands 30 million in VAT and tax surcharges.
