“The units of the Southern Military District (SMD), which have completed their participation in tactical exercises at the training grounds of the Crimean Peninsula, are marching to their permanent deployment points by rail,” the statement says.
The Ministry of Defense added that military equipment and servicemen will be delivered by military trains to the points of permanent deployment of military units.
Earlier, the press service of the Southern Military District said that about ten military convoys with bulky, heavy and dangerous goods marched from Crimea after the exercises.
