The German government considers the Normandy format for resolving the situation in Donbass relevant, said Cabinet spokeswoman Christiane Hoffmann.

“Yes, he is very much alive,” Interfax quotes her.

Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of the German Bundestag Committee on International Policy, Thomas Erndl (CDU / CSU), called the unsuccessful outcome of the negotiations of advisers to the heads of the Normandy Four countries in Berlin a bad sign.

According to German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock, the dialogue was complex and lasted more than ten hours.
